cant access files!!!

    I have a laptop that got a beer spilled on it. Needless to say it fried. SO, I pulled the hardrive and stuck it in another computer as a slave so I could pull info from the drive. All was going well untill I hit a file I had in doc and settings/my name/ desktop/ ...it tells me access denied. Is there a way around this?...Please help.

    I would think that it depends on the type of file that it is, and what application created it. Without knowing that, it is doubtful that anyone can help you! There are some very knowledgeable members on this site that would probably be glad to help, if you offered more details. :)
