Cant access my Documents!

    Hi

    i just recently installed a copy of windows xp over a previous windows folder (replacing) basically i got access to my cousins Documents but when i tried to acess my documents it said access denied ( as previous windows i had password protected my files so only i can access them when im on my account)

    is there any possible way to acess my files agian

    Are you saying you re-installed XP? In that case the original account you created the files under and set the password for, no longer exists. Even if it has the same name a new SID was generated. Hopefully they weren't encrypted.
