cant access other account <_<

Gah, i recently reinstalled windows, while keeping everything on my comp. only problem: i can't access my old account. how can i get privelages to access the folder. when my antivirus scans, i see that it could access that. what i'm talking about is that "C:\Documents and Settings\<username>" folder. you know.... when you're an administrator, other people can't access your account.... I even tried logging in as the "Administrator" account and wouldnt work.

can anyone please help me!?

IS their an error message when you try to access that folder, if so what?

But I suspect as you have re-installed the OS and its likely to be XP, then your account settings have changed with the new install, which leaves you to have to follow the below link to Take Ownership of the folder and files
