I used a my slax live linux distro and noticed that there two other disc partitions showed upon my dell laptop. How do I access them in windows?
I used compmgmt.msc but it won't let me work with them. Any Ideas?

Alot of laptop or OEM manufacturers are adding hidden partitions to there systems rather than give you the actual CDs these days.

Dell have a Utility Partition and a Restore Partition as to access I dont think you can, you might try taking ownership of those partitions?

I don't know what is the file system of your Linux partitions but most of all you can't see Linux partitions from Windows. However you can get to know what files and folders are available there with the help of some disk partition software like Disk Director Suite or Partition Magic. But you won't be able to view content of these files, only what files are located there. And in case of Partition Magic you'll not see even this information if your Linux file system is reiserfs. If you don't have useful information on those partitions you can format them and create new partitions you want with this software.
