Cant acess router no more.

Hey, i having an issue here with my router i have a pc[vista] that was connect to my router via wireless. But then i tried to add my old pc[ME] to connect also with the router[netgear] wireless.So what did was put the cd that came with my router in the other pc and tried to get on the network.It didnt work because i think the wireless is'nt working. Now when i went back to use the internet on new pc[vista] that was already connected i could'nt . I used to be able to go to routerlogin on the new pc[vista] but i cant, only on the old[windows ME] pc. whats going onrolleyes, i can only connect with the ol pc via either net. How do i get my router to only answer to my new pc.:confused

You probably need to rerun the router CD on your vista machine to get it to connect.
You can try adding the second comp just by connecting to the wireless network without running the CD, however the second comp might not support the security protocol if it is an older model of wireless adapter.
All the elements of a secured wireless network need to be on the same protocol to work together.

You should connect one computer with a wire for the configuration period.

Only when every thing works OK switch to the Wireless.

 

i tried to to that but i cant log in my router, :cry but i will try again right now.

 

it connected now, but how do i get it wireless? The ip address looks the same but its not working, i tried to renew it but it says media disconnect.This the part i really dont understand is this ipconfig stuff.
