Cant add folder to iTunes

Hi,

Im not sure if its me or something but i am not able to add folders to the library where i could've last week. The stuff that i want to add is in my downloads folder which then gets transfered to my external Harddrive ("G") after i added the folder.But for some reason when i tried it today
the location of where the file is still in the download file & not in the "G" drive, please help
If you want me to clarify anything please ask
