Can't boot up Vista

    Vista won't boot up
    My HP shoot himself down and now I have an HP blue screen with the options to <Esc=boot Menu> <F10=Setup> <F11 System Recovery>.
    If I hit 'Esc' it gets stuck with "Loading boot menu"; F10 and F11 do absolutely nothing, as same if I insert my Recovery disk, the disk spins for a short while but then it stops without any consequence.
    Also hitting F8 to start in Safe Mode does nothing.

    I believe it must be a virus.

    Appreciate any help.

    I've found out Bios not working, probably motherboard fried. Case closed.
