I am trying to burn a dvd. I am using Nero to do this. I choose make an exact copy and it copies the temp file to the hard drive fine. Then I place the blank dvd in to burn the temp too and it says I do not have enough memory. I go to my drive to see what it is reads and it says I have 52% of my drive is free. I did a defrag. Cleaned it up will all the cleaner programs that I have. I just dont know why it says I dont have room and I do. Please help. Thanks

When it says you don't have enough memory, what is it referring to? Does it say not enough RAM? Virtual memory? Hard drive space? If you could post the exact error message or a screen shot of the exact message, it would be very helpful. I use Nero 6.6 to burn DVD's all the time and never have trouble, but I need more details from you to provide assistance ;)

Sorry, I did not post enough information. The message says that I need 266345 MB to copy and I only have 200435 MB free. Now I am assuming that it means my hard drive. It really does not say, ram, virtual memory etc. I have 512 mb of ram, the paging file for virtual memory is 400 MB. I have checked every thing and nothing seems wrong. I too use Nero and have never had a problem. I have a Dell P4, CPU 1.70 GH, running XP S2. My hard drive shows I have 52% free, I had no problem defragging it. I have ran all my test on it and shows no malware, spyware and viruses.

Yes, that did cross my mind, so I tried buring several different dvd's. Small ones did not work either. I am just thinking maybe its my hard drive failing. I have had this computer since 2000. I guess it is about time some things start failing. Thank you for the reply.
