cant clear temp internet fiolder

    I have a problem with internet expler

    internet explorer keeps freezing up on certain pages....so i tried to clear the temp internet folder and it would let me...so then i tried to access the file directly and when i tried to open it a exception error message poped up.........if you need my hijack file let me know...if that helps...any help would be appreciated...

    What do you mean by it wouldn't let you? Sometimes if there are a lot of files in mine it locks up when I try to clean it using the IE tools menu. I use the system cleanup utility to do it.
