can't close window boxes

    i open up my computer to look at file and once iv looked at them i go to close the box but i cant nothing happens and the only way i can close it is if i end program

    what are your system specs?
    have you scanned for spyware/virus?

    If you're trying to open up a really large file, your editing prog can get hung up (even if you've looked at part of the file). If you wait long enough, it will eventually pull up the file, then you can close it just like always - or you could kill the prog ;) .

    What editor are you using and what kind of file are you looking at?
