Cant delete directories

ok i had shared an empty folder publicly, just for uploading purposes, but now a hacker has made a string of directories in it that i can't delete cuz he named them all with a space at the end of the name, and windows wont recognize the directory to delete it.

anyone know if i can get rid of them? its not a big problem, just a nuisance.

im using windows 2000 professional if that helps

 

remove everything from those directories and put all the files to another directory. Then delete the the ROOT directory that holds the bogus folder names by going to command line and type

RD [root directory]

where [root directory] is the root folder that holds the bogus folders
