    OK, I figured it out.
    Now attempting to run MGtools. I didn't know how to save it to the C drive , so I just clicked RUN at download.....it's running now.

    MGTools ran ok, and everything was clean. I didn't see one pop-up since yesterday using IE. We previously deleted Chrome because a lot of the pop-ups were in that browser. I also deleted some suspicious PC Cleaning programs, not sure how they got on there, but they were a huge problem. SO...ran all the tools and I thought everything was clean, and it was. I re-downloaded Chrome, and BINGO, all the same junk. The browser is really messed up.

    So, I'm re-running all the tools with Chrome INSTALLED, to be continue.

    OK, and once you have ran ALL of the tools please attach the requested logs. :)

    Ran all the tools, CCleaner, and the 4 tools. TDSSkiller found absolutely nothing so I omitted that log. Google chrome is still a disaster. Also my wife is attempting to try Micosoft Office and it's denying saying we don't have windows. Here's the logs. I did the best I could with them, I'm not very computer savy. Please tell me if I need to do anything else, or something better. I really want to fix this problem. The computer is only 3 days old and this has me about on my last nerve and we're ready to just take it back. Any help is VERY much appreciated. Ed

    Viewpoint Media Player <<< Uninstall this.

    Where is the Malware Bytes log?

    http://img805.imageshack.us/img805/9659/rktigzy.gif Fix items using RogueKiller.

    Double-click RogueKiller.exe to run. (Vista/7/8 right-click and select Run as Administrator)
    When it opens, press the Scan button
    Now click the Registry tab and locate these detections:

    • [PUP] (X64) HKEY_USERS\RK_Judy_ON_E_E38F\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run | MyWebSearch Email Plugin : C:\PROGRA~2\MYWEBS~1\bar\1.bin\mwsoemon.exe -> Not selected
    • [PUP] (X86) HKEY_USERS\RK_Judy_ON_E_E38F\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run | MyWebSearch Email Plugin : C:\PROGRA~2\MYWEBS~1\bar\1.bin\mwsoemon.exe -> Not selected
    • [PUP] (X64) HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\RK_System_ON_E_1757\ControlSet001\Services\MyWebSearchService -> Not selected
    • [PUP] (X64) HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\RK_System_ON_E_1757\ControlSet002\Services\MyWebSearchService -> Not selected

    Place a checkmark next to each of these items, leave the others unchecked.
    Now press the Delete button.
    When it is finished, there will be a log on your desktop called: RKreport[2].txt
    Attach RKreport[2].txt to your next message. (How to attach)
    Reboot the machine.

    Re run Hitman and have it remove all of the items under the heading of: Potential Unwanted Programs

    http://imageshack.us/a/img841/7292/thisisujrt.gif Please download Junkware Removal Tool to your desktop.
    • Shut down your protection software now to avoid potential conflicts.
    • Run the tool by double-clicking it. If you are using Windows Vista or Seven, right-mouse click it and select Run as Administrator.
    • The tool will open and start scanning your system.
    • Please be patient as this can take a while to complete depending on your system's specifications.
    • On completion, a log (JRT.txt) is saved to your desktop and will automatically open.
    • Attach JRT.txt to your next message.

    • Re run Hitman and attach what will hopefully be a clean log.
    • Same for RogueKiller.
    • Run the C:\MGtools\GetLogs.bat file by double clicking on it. (Right click and run as admin if using Vista, Windows7 or Win8) Then attach the new C:\MGlogs.zip file that will be created by running this.
    • Let me know of any problems you may have encountered with the above instructions and also let me know how things are running!

    Unfortunately my wife interceded, and brought the computer back to Office Max. Actually it was the right thing to do with a new computer less than a week old. The Office Max techs worked with it for about 20 min and then "deemed it defective," and issued a full refund. I want to thank you for the time and effort you spent helping me to resolve the issue. Wow. Are you buying a new one?

    Not at the moment. I replaced the motherboard in another computer she had, and it seems to be doing the job for the time being. Any suggestions for a new one when the time comes?
