can't dock latitude D410 to docking sta.

    ust bought on ebay: PR09S - Dell Latitude D410/420/430 Media Base Combo Drive Docking Station With DVD RW. item no.310300023750

    whenever i try to dock the D410 to the above listed station, it doesn' t "snap to gether" with the click you'd expect.. all the pegs and holes and docking ports seem to line up correctly but it just doesn't go together completely and "click". .
    i got no instructions with the product and have searched the dell website for instructions, users guide, or manual.
    i did find the link below which is for manual. i followed the instructions on pages 9-12 but still wasn't able to dock the D410 to the media base

    Did you see p16? The computer should be turned off when docking for the first time and you start at a 30° angle.
    If it still doesn't work, maybe there is something wrong with the docking station.
