can't drag and drop firefox to applications on mac osx

    I need to drag and drop firefox into the applications folder to install it. Problem: It won't let me drag and drop firefox into the applications folder to install it. I know this is probably the dumbest question ever, but I'm completely stumped. Any help would be much appreciated. Thankx!
