    Hey!

I've just done a reformat of my Windows 95, but I have a problem....it doesn't recognize the CD-ROM drive. To do the reformat, the CD drive was R:, but I can't find that anywhere, not even on DOS.

    Help?

You will need to load drivers for Win95. To use the CDROM in DOS you need to load the DOS CD Drivers from Config.sys and MSCDEX.exe in the Autoexec.bat.

Here is an article to help expain http://www.techadvice.com/tech/M/MSCDEX.htm
