    I bought this monitor
    AOC C4008VU8
    http://us.aoc.com/product_feature.php?id=84

    I have the MSI Radeon R7 240.
I have run 2k at 60 Hz before.

However, on the new monitor, no matter what I change the resolution to, the Hz are always staying at 24.

Here are some screen clips of the Radeon control panel.

Does anyone have an idea of how I can get this to run
2k at 60 Hz or thereabouts.

Try setting up the monitor via Device Manager first; download the C4008VU8 Drivers package from the Support tab on that AOC page, extract all files to a folder on your Desktop, find the U4008B.inf file there and right-click > install, or point the Update Drivers part of the Monitor's Properties tab in DM to it. Once done, you can set the resolution in Windows, then the Radeon CP should also pick up the details.
