Last night I shut down my computer before going to bed. This morning after I turned it on, only the Guest Account is on the login screen. My Administrator login with ALL my files, etc. is not there...GONE! All my emails, addresses, etc. in Outlook, my files/folders in Word, Excel, etc. What happened and how do I restore it? I have tried to Search for some of the files by name, but nothing. I'm using Windows XP Home Edition. Thanks a heap, guys!

are you getting the welcome screen?? if so, hit ctrl-alt-del twice, and another login will pop up, and you can log in as administrator, with the password.

    Nope.

    Not on XP Home.

Administrator is only available in Safe Mode.

Thank you for your help. I am actually running Windows XP Professional and was able to get into my settings and all through your help--CTRL+ALT+Del twice and then I just had to type in the name of the account and the password. I cannot tell you how grateful I am for your help. Thank you so, so much.

Oh, btw, do you have any idea what could have caused me to lose the Administrator Account? Appreciate it.
