cant get into safe mode

    Herpes simplex virus looks pretty good most of the time too, till it comes out of dormancy every so often. lol.

    Can you follow the leads on that page to do an audit?

    Hey TimW - What's up?

    This one is interesting... seemingly normal op's, but no safe mode.

    This guy doesn't seem completely committed to the solution, however, and I'd really like to see what's here...

    He said he can get into the registry editor...

    Two years ago, I picked up an advanced version of the sasser worm, and after 4 - 5 days, I found it as an installed program in the registry, and deleted it. Rt. click/delete, GONE! It was too easy.

    You'd be surprised what shows in registry.

    Yeah, I've been following and it's pretty screwy ....(I think I posted to it once or twice).
    Good reg. cleaner, I think, has been suggested. Don't know if it was followed up or not.
