Can't get my computer to connect to the network

    I can't seem to get my computer to connect to the network i'm trying to set up , it wont even show the network. while the other computer is listing both computers as on the network. I ran the wizard 3 times on my computer but nothing, i've tried chnging the name of the network , still nothing , I'm getting very frustrated , can anyone help :cry

    First make sure that the Hardware is installed and configured corrcetly.

    Then configure the Network Sharing.

    As well as specific adjustment of each computer according to what it is allowed to be shared.

    I keep getting this error message everytime i try to click on the other computer, i want to know how i get permission. " \\Shaylynn is not accessible. you might not have permission to use this network resource. contact the administrator of this server to find out if you have access permissions."

    There is No magic solution, there can be many reasons for this behavior, you have to methodically go over the Sharing system.

    Have you made sure that password protection is turned off on the computer your trying to access? That's very similiar to the message I got. It never asked for a password, just told me I couldn't access it. Once I turned off pw protection I was able to access it. Good Luck and Take cre!
