cant get my printer to work right

    I have a lenovo g50-70 laptop,running windows 8 64 bit,, and a epson workforce 520....
    I can print from laptop wireless, but when I try to scan it says driver not installed.
    I went to the epson website downloaded the drivers and installed still nothing..
    not sure what else to do.
    please help

    Check whether you downloaded the 64-bit drivers - anyone can make a mistake. Does the scanner show in Device Manager under Imaging Devices? Lastly, if you installed the drivers while the printer was connected, disconnect the printer and install the drivers again, or vice versa.
