can't get sound!!!!

Hi, i'm new to this so bear with me. I'm not that computer literate either!!! I accidentally uninstalled my audio from my Dell inspiron mini 10 model noP19S. No matter what i try to do I just can't get sound back... I've proper cheesed the missus off with this so pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeease help. thanks guys

 

Can you supply me with the mini's service tag# please, also what OS you are running.

 

service tag is : D6MVPJ1. I'm not sure the answer to your other question but i know im using windows xp. thanks

I need for you to download and install these drivers in the order given and you must restart the laptop after each instalation (this is VERY important!!!)..

1.) Chipset Driver .... http://support.euro.dell.com/suppor...peid=-1&formatid=-1&impid=-1&checkFormat=true

2.) Audio Driver .... http://support.euro.dell.com/suppor...peid=-1&formatid=-1&impid=-1&checkFormat=true

Please let me know if this fixes your issue, if not then there are other fixes we can run through ok!!
