Hi all. My dad said his computer was broke and would not start anymore. It's an ASUS motherboard with Windows 7. He gave it to me and I can not even get to safe mode to begin trying to fix it. I read it would not work with a ps/2 keyboard so I went and got a usb one, but no luck. I can get to the boot menu and the main settings screen, but that's it. No matter when or how many times I hit F8 it won't give me start up options. I've read websites where it says to try Esc, F5, Del, Ins etc... None of these work. After getting out of the BIOS screen it just goes to a blinking line in the top left, no Windows screen or anything. Anything obvious I'm not doing? Thank you.
