    Hello, i'm unable to connect to microsoft site and any anti virus related sites.(thus i cannot download any updates or anti virus). When i tried to copy and install an anti virus the setup will immediately terminate. Also the setup file vanished after several trials.

    I tried the READ AND RUN ME FIRST guide but the problem still persists.

    (NOTE: i can access any sites except those)

    Surprisingly, i can now access microsoft and any anti virus sites.(I can't, before i read the READ AND RUM ME FIRST GUIDE). (i'm sorry for not checking before i posted because i only tried installing an anti virus and when it didn't installed I assumed that there were no changes done on the problem). But I still cannot install any anti virus. Also i cannot get a log from MG Tools because it won't run properly.

    Please download The Avenger by Swandog469, and save it to your Desktop.

    * Extract+ avenger.exe from the Zip file and save it to your desktop

    Please disable all anti-virus and anti-spyware programs while we do the following (re-enable when you are finished):

    * Run avenger.exe by double-clicking on it.
    * -Do not change any check box options!!
    * Copy everything in the Quote box below, and paste it into the Input script here: part of the window:

    * Now click the Execute button.
    * Click Yes to the prompt to confirm you want to execute.
    * Click Yes to the Reboot now? question that will appear when Avenger finishes running.
    * Your PC should reboot, if not, reboot it yourself.
    * A log file from Avenger will be produced at C:\avenger.txt and it will popup for you to view when you login after reboot.

    Please click Start, Run, and enter cmd and click OK. This will open a command prompt window. Enter the below commands at the command prompt each followed by the enter key. The bold black are commands. The purple is merely informational.

    cd \MGtools <-- this changes to the MGtools folder and the prompt should change to C:\MGtools>
    GetRunKey <-- this will try to run all one scan from MGtools. Tell me what error messages, if any, you see.
    ShowNew <-- this will try to run all another scan from MGtools. Tell me what error messages, if any, you see.

    Please disable all your AV and AS software and then try to re-run the C:\MGtools\GetLogs.bat file by double clicking on it (Note: if using Vista, don't double click, use right click and select Run As Administrator).
    Also try running it in safe mode if it won't run in normal mode.

    First of all, I believe i do not have any AV or AS since i can't install any..
    While it was in the process of scanning, it returned an error "The application failed to initialize properly. Click on OK to terminate the application" but fortunately, it was still able to finish and create a log file.
    Here is the log from MGTools

    Let's try the below and see where we are:

    * Make sure that combofix.exe that you downloaded while doing the READ & RUN ME is on your Desktop but Do not run it!
    If it is not on your Desktop, the below will not work.
    * Also make sure you have shut down all protection software (antivirus, antispyware...etc) or they may get in the way of allowing ComboFix to run properly.
    * If ComboFix tells you it needs to update to a new version, make sure you allow it to update.
    * Open Notepad and copy/paste the text in the below code box into it (make sure you scroll all the way down in the code box to get all lines selected ):
    Code:
    KILLALL::

    Driver::
    a2ptbtn

    File::
    C:\ypdetv.exe
    C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\a2ptbtn.sys
    C:\Documents and Settings\neopc10\Local Settings\temp\windlvvbh.exe
    C:\Documents and Settings\neopc10\Local Settings\temp\tmp1.data

    Registry::
    [-HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Browser Helper Objects\{02478D38-C3F9-4efb-9B51-7695ECA05670}]

    [-HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Browser Helper Objects\{02478D38-C3F9-4efb-9B51-7695ECA05670}\NoExplorer]

    * Save the above as CFscript.txt and make sure you save it to the same location (should be on your Desktop) as ComboFix.exe
    * At this point, you MUST EXIT ALL BROWSERS NOW before continuing!
    * You should have both the ComboFix.exe and CFScript.txt icons on your Desktop.
    If it asks you to overide the previous file with the same name, click YES.
    * Now use your mouse to drag CFscript.txt on top of ComboFix.exe
    http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v666/sUBs/CFScriptB-4.gif
    * Follow the prompts.
    * When it finishes, a log will be produced named c:\combofix.txt
    * I will ask for this log below

    Note:

    Do not mouseclick combofix's window while it is running. That may cause it to stall.

    Now run the C:\MGtools\GetLogs.bat file by double clicking on it (Note: if using Vista, don't double click, use right click and select Run As Administrator).

    Then attach the below logs:

    * C:\ComboFix.txt
    * C:\MGlogs.zip

    Make sure you tell me how things are working now!

    @TimW,

    See the runkeys.txt log for the below. There is a Sality infection
    Code:
    [MCIDRV_VER]
    DEVICEMB=32211876506
    Based on experience, a reinstall will be necessary to fix this.

    I obtained a fresh copy of combofix from this site, but as i put the log file, a warning saying the it is not safe for me to continue. please obtain a fresh copy from this site and i may be infected by a virus "Virut" appeared. Then the combofix.exe disappeared, I was not able to continue and i'm also confused with what chaslang said.I don't know what to do next...

    You have a Sality infection and according to the Combo message, you may also have a virut infection. Both of these infections are next to impossible to completely clean. So your best course of action would be to backup your personal data and files ( Music, photos, etc.) and then do a reformat and a clean install.
    Once you are back up and running, with full protection installed, scan your backup media before you transfer it back to the system.

    Just as I thought, well even after hearing about the sality infection. I know it will all end up here(though I was still hoping that your last reply will give me another solution...)d:(
    I'll take your advice to give up and reformat this machine..
    I hope I'll never gonna need help again.
    Thanks for the efforts by the way.

    You are most welcome. I am sorry you are having to reformat, but it is the safest thing to do at this point.
