Cant install drivers for sm bus controller.

Hi all, I have just reformatted my pc. The problem I have is in device manager, I have a yellow question mark on sm bus controller. I have tried installing the driver for this from all the disk that came with the computer with no luck. The computer seems to run fine except that I cant get voip to work in BF2.

System
xp sp1
pentium 4 3ghz
1gig of ram
nx6600gt graphics card
asus P4p800 se

Sorry I cant provide more system info as I dont know any more about the computer.

A friend suggested trying youre site as he has been helped heaps.

Download and install EVEREST.

That will tell you what hardware you have, and supply links for drivers.

Don't rely on drivers you get on the supplied CD's as they are usually very old.

sm bus is an Intel moniker for System Management bus, so updating your motherboard drivers should resolve it.
