   I copied SimCity 4 onto my hard drive its 2 discs
   and now i cant run setup when i click install it says Please Insert CD 1
   Can i like change some file in there to read from my hard drive or should i just get the cd back and install it from the cd?

   Not that I remember, Simcity games tend to install from CD and IIRC need the 1st CD in the drive when playing...
   
   If the game is not yours and a friends then I fear you may need the original disks to run from, everytime you play the game... kinda remember Simcity ( dunno which one ) always asked me for one of the 2 disks.
