Can't Install Windows Defender

    I installed the windows install 3.1 requirement but still can't install?

    Do you get any error messages or install validation messages when installing Defender, if so what?

    Have you before installing Defender turned off any other security software first, sometimes other applications interfear with installs.

    I get a message to go to go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkID=63848 because I do not have windows installer 3.1 and I must have that to install defender... well I installed the installer 3.1 and still recieved the same message to go to that link.
