Can't Load Pages

Working on a newer Toshiba Satellite Laptop runing WN XP Home addition. Oroginally started working on it due to her getting the "blue screen of death". However I noticed all she had protecting her laptop was PCCillian. SO I started to come here and get the files to start cleaning.

Problem I am running into is the browser will not load major geeks page, bit defender, or even panda homepage. Just comes back as "page cannot be displayed". I've cleaned out the cache, disabled PCCillian, added them to secure sites and still the web pages won't load. ANy clues on what would cause these pages to not load ???

I would try and use Firefox, but it won't even let me load mozzila.org I also notices in the lower left "opening xxxx" area there appears to be 2 www. In other words if I try and open www.majorgeeks.com, in the lower left of IE it is saying "opening www.www.majorgeeks.com" hence the reason I can't open anything.

 

try using http://67.19.72.101/ to load the majorgeeks page. Its possible there is a DNS Hijack preventing domains from being resolved.

Can you visit the read and run me page on another computer and get the tools you need and transfer them ?
