So for about the past week I have been unable to login to certain sites using my desktop computer on my home cable internet. The main sites this is happening on are YouTube, AOL, eBay, head-fi.org, and Google (only when trying to access Google Maps). I am receiving generic error messages such as "there was an issue logging you in." On AOL, I receive the "Blerk Error 1 Authentication Problem" message.

I have tried searching the web for a solution, but all I can really find are suggestions to clear cookies/cache/history/etc. which hasn't worked. I have tried IE, Firefox, and Chrome with all add-ons disabled, and they all give the same errors. I also tried disabling my firewall. I am, however, able to login to these sites using my phone via my wi-fi.

Any ideas? Thanks ahead of time.

    PS - I'm using Windows 7 64-bit.

I finally solved this problem. I went into my router's firewall settings and found that, by default, a "Filter Cookies" setting was enabled which prevented cookies from being stored on the hard drive. I disabled this, and the problem was fixed.
