Can't log in

Hello,
Can you please help me with this problem,
Win XP Home edition
HP Pav 725
Issue:
every time i tried to log ( turn on my computer) the screen shows the icon of who I want to sign in as, Owner,my name..., when ever I click or select a user the message: `loading your personal settings`, nothing loads but an immediate message`: ` Logging off`.
I have done:
- Tried to get in on safe mode it let me once on Monday ( today is Sat), nothing since I have tried every day!
- Tried to re-install Windows XP ( repair) but the process does not change, and the message percist.
I`m very frustrated, any ideas
please help.
