can't login to email or ebay

I don't know how I logged into this site. I can't login to hotmail, ebay, school email or school student services site. I don't know if this is a software problem or virus problem. I do know that my hotmail address has been under attack recently after signing up for some auto quotes online. Sometimes I'll login and find 100 messages trying to get me to open up attachments (I'm not that dumb, thank you!) I had sent a picture to my mom's email and suddenly her's was infected with the same thing. This happened a few weeks ago and has settled down since, I don't know if it's related to my current problem or not.

Since this morning, everytime I try to login to something I get the 'this page cannot be displayed page'. I also get it when I try to open up msn.com - but sometimes I get the msn search page telling me it can't find msn.com. This is interesting - just tried to access msn home through links from the msn search page - this was displayed in the address screen: http://g.msn.com/0PNENUS/1001. Except for anything I try to login to and the msn.com site, I can access other sites just fine.

Security issue (java problems) or virus issue? I have no idea. Can anyone help?

Here's my computer info: windows xp home edition version 2002, sp2, ie6, cpu type = intel celeron 4a, 2000 mh,256 mb ram

You have a virus my man. I have very little experience so I have no idea what gets rid of it so I'd do a virus scan and a spyware scan to see what comes up.

 

If I were you, I would visit the Spyware Specific section, read the sticky notes at the top, follow all procedures given, and then post for help if the problem wasn't corrected!
