can't open .GFX file

    does anyone know a free program/website i can download to open a .GSX file ?
    whenever i do a search i get many that offer a free download but when you download it, it turns out to be a crippled piece of software that in order to make it works you need to register it ( you know, $$$)

    i know there's got 2b a free program out there that will open my .GFX files.

    my bad - tks for catching it
    it's actually .GFX
    still haven't found anything to open it - hope you've got some sugg.

    Unless I have a clue which of the 5 types it could be, I can't offer anything further.

    i'm not sure how to determine what type the file is. the file has a name followed by .gfx. it comes from a program called "print artist 4.0 " i know thats prob
    not much help but i don't really know where to look - wish i could provide more info.

    That's the key bit of information that you did not mention in your first two posts!

    Print Artist 4 was for Windows 95/98 so unless you know anyone with a very old computer, I doubt that you will find it installed. You also won't have much luck finding anything free to open it either.

    Here is paid software, there is a trial, that might be able to open it
