Cant post in the spyware section...

I have been trying to reply to spyware and virus questions, but i click reply and it says i don't have permission.. are newcomers not allowed to post there or is there a problem with my account or something?

 

Only official authorized spyware members can reply. You can start a new topic if you are experiencing problems but cannot repost.
I think it was due to too many people replying with unhelpful answers/hijacking the threads with their own problems.

 

You have to take a test and be certified. Too much bad advice before.

Trouble was, a lot of people's help wasn't very, errm helpful.

 

Malware Fighters also must demonstrate the ability and desire to be around often enough to provide help in a timely manner.

that one is kinda a "forget about it" type of thing. coz i am off at school during the week (i am a boarder and come home on weekends). oh well have fun..

 

They need to give serious consideration to implement it in software.

no. software has a far greater range of problems from the very simple (eg. how do i turn my puter off) to the very complicated. personally, as a general rule i dont initiate any changes immediately unless i am confident in the ability of the adviser. if the advisor is new to me i will wait 24hrs just in case someone sez different. aloha
