Can't reinstall or use my HP Image Zone Plus

I just received this error message after reinstalling the drivers for a client's HP all-in-one printer. She hd a slew of other error messages from the CD installation of the software. I could not uninstall this software using the standard HP application uninstallers from the Start menu, nor from the Add/Remove Programs under the Control Panels and lastly using the uninstall function from the CD installation disk. The HP Technician on the phone had me use a "level 2" uninstall from the CD installer disk which required opening the installer CD , navigating through folders and using the uninstall manually in a command line interface. This uninstalled most of the HP garbage from computer. Other HP software. Other software remained uninstallable through the Add/Remove Programs Control Panel item. I had to finally remove them using a tool downloaded from the Microsoft website. I reinstalled the drivers fro the printer after they were downloaded from the HP website. The client is now annoyed by the HPQWRG An unsupported operation was attempted error message. Anyone figured this one out yet?
