Can't remove Spector leftovers

I went through the New READ & RUN ME FIRST and collected all the logs but Spector still remains in my system tray and I can not "send from Outlook 2010 BETA". Can anyone help me?

Thank you for the reply. Even though I followed the READ and RUN FIRST but did not follow thru with attatching the logs, I still had Spector in my system tray and I could not SEND e-mail in Outlook 2010 BETA. I did not know how long it would be before I would get a reply so I continued to search the forum. I found a post with a link to a Spector Pro 6 removal software. After running the software I found two .dll files. The files, artipdb32.dll and objuntcp.dll, were found in c:\windows\system32 folder. I was able to delete the first file immediately, but I had to restart my computer before I could delete the second one.
As far as Outlook went I had to delete my e-mail account and restart Outlook the re-add my e-mail account. Spector is gone and my Outlook is back to normal now. I would not want you or anyone else to just waste their time reading logs, unless you feel it would be a good idea. I still have those log files if you wish to see them. Otherwise, thanks again for your help and for this forum.

If you have solved your issues, good to know!! We would only need to look if you were still having those issues.

If you are not having any other malware problems, it is time to do our final steps:

We recommend you keep SUPERAntiSpyware and Malwarebytes Anti-Malware for scanning/removal of malware. Unless you purchase them, they provide no real-time protection. They are useful as backup scanners.They do not use any significant amount of resources ( except a little disk space ) until you run a scan.

If we had you use ComboFix, uninstall ComboFix (This uninstall will only work as written if you installed ComboFix on your Desktop like we requested.)

Click START then RUN and enter the below into the run box and then click OK. Note the quotes are required

"%userprofile%\Desktop\combofix" /uninstall

Notes: The space between the combofix" and the /u, it must be there.

This will uninstall ComboFix and also reset hidden files and folders settings back to Windows defaults.

Any other miscellaneous tools we may have had you install or download can be uninstalled and deleted.

If running Vista, it is time to make sure you have reenabled UAC by double clicking on the C:\MGtools\enableUAC.reg file and allowing it to be added to the registry.

Go to add/remove programs and uninstall HijackThis.

Goto the C:\MGtools folder and find the MGclean.bat file. Double click on this file to run this cleanup program that will remove files and folders related to MGtools and some other items from our cleaning procedures.

If you are running Vista, Windows XP or Windows ME, do the below:

Refer to tahe cleaning procedures ian step 3 the READ ME for your Window version and see the instructions to Disable System Restore which will flush your Restore Points.

Then reboot and Enable System Restore ato create a new clean Restore Point.
