Doing the "Read & Run Me First" & I got to the combofix thing & I am getting an error " Windows cannot access the specified device. You may not have permissions to access the item". I disabled all antivirus, firewall & spyware removal applications. I am logged in as aministrator as well. Help? Thanks!

Did you try doing it in safe mode? If so and it still will not run, please just carry on with the rest of the instructions and attach what logs you can.

I got the combo fix to run in safe mode BUT... while running it it said "No windows recovery system" & asked me if I wanted to install it now & I clicked no, just so I could proceed with the combo fix. It's still taking a long time for IE to connect, but was wondering if that's because there's only a small amont of RAM on this computer? It's an old one & a 14yr old teens computer now. It also takes a bit to open programs as well.

    Hi

To retrieve the log for MWB's you would open up the program, and go to the "logs" tab...and it will be located right there :)

I would like to check the MWB's log....but what you have attached is not showing any malware ( after SAS removed the MYWeb and FunWeb items).....the slowness is the lack of Ram:
    Code:
    Total Physical Memory 256.00 MB
    Available Physical Memory 24.47 MB

Barely enough to run xp and you have very little available memory left over.

Are you having any malware issues still?

That confirms that you are clean .....if you are not having any other malware issues then it is time to do our final clean up:

Copy the bold text below to notepad. Save it as fixME.reg to your desktop. Be sure the "Save as" type is set to "all files" Once you have saved it double click it and allow it to merge with the registry.
Make sure that you tell me if you receive a success message about adding the above
to the registry. If you do not get a success message, it definitely did not work.

If you get a success message, then:

Lol! That's why! Yep, we gave it to our 14 yr old several years ago & got a new one. Guess we should of trashed it then, but it's good enough for a kid to play on.

Adding one more stick of 256 will improve it without much cost. :)
