Hello, I am trying to run the old game game Driver by GT Interactive on Windows Ten 64 Pro. It has installed but just refuses to run. If I run the Games Config is says No Comapatible 3D Devices Detected.

A 3D Settings Box pops up with 3D Device, Resoulotion, and Depth but they are all blank.
    Any ideas? Ta :)

I have done as you suggested but I still get the same result as in my first post.

Have you used Compatibility Mode to emulate the best prior OS for this game?

Have you checked that you have the latest chipset drivers installed for your motherboard? Without them, Windows won't be able to correctly detect/configure/load drivers for, the graphics card (maybe more).

Yes, but it makes no odds.

Some games on Windows ten require administrator rights to run on Windows ten.

Right click on the game launcher icon and than left click administrator rights.

    That should work.

Check on the game support site and any fan-based sites for the game, there might well be something specific that blocks it on some modern OS'.

I have done that allready but it makes no difference.

Looked into the game, and it was published in 1999.

Just to double check, you have tried compatibility mode using Win98? Is this game DOS, or does it install to Windows?

This game just may be so legacy that you need to run it using something like VMWare, VirtualBox or DOSBox.

Ouch, then it would likely need a base x86 OS or virtual machine to stand any chance of success.

I use VMWare to run Win95/98/XP on my W10 machine.
