Can't run some .exe programs

    Hi :)
    I can't run some .exe like when i try to run the latest google chrome update it doesn't work. Same thing with the daemon tools lite update.

    Sorry if this isn't the right category!

    Tried right clicking and selecting "run as administrator"?

    And what happens? (any errors, blue screens?

    Have you turned off your antivirus? Some programs will not install because of aggressive security programs.
    What security programs are running?

    It doesn't do anything. It loads for 1 sec and nothing more.

    I have avast free, and Malware bytes antimalware free.

    And it doesn't help turning it off.
