Can't Start games

I recently got rid of a virus on my computer and I thought everything was fine, that is until I went to play Medal Of Honor: Allied Assault. I tried to start it and the game froze at the start-up window I then uninstalled and an reinstalled it but still no go. I tried my other games and the same thing happened to them.

 

Try running the DX Diagnostic tool and see what it says.

Start, Run and type in dxdiag

Also, try updating/reinstalling your video card drivers.

What operating system are you running?

 

I am running XP Pro...I saved the dxdiag info and attached it to this post.

 

You didn't run any of the tests in dxdiag.

Look in each tab for a "test" button and try them all and see if it passes.

 

I ran the tests and everything came back fine. My drivers aren't the problem because I was playing this game less then 3 weeks ago and it ran fine.

More than likely.

Unfortunately, removing viruses and spyware usually leaves a lot of systems unstable, but it could really be anything, including drivers.

Update your video card drivers to the latest one available.

Check the event viewer for any clues. It's in Control Panel, Administritive Tools.
