Can't think of a suitable title

I'm having a problem which is really starting to annoy me. Whenever I open certain programs, like Word or WoW, "something" open a box prompting me to download a file, usually I can just press Cancel, a new box pops up with a new file, I press Cancel again and the program starts normally. But in some cases the program doesn't run properly, like Help and Guide functions which won't start at all. I have a few screens of what it looks like.

This here is the Word guide initializing, although it never really does, that box just stays there and never changes, I can just exit the window and Word runs normally, but really annoying to do it every single time.

 

Have you disabled any services, or installed any "tweaking" programs for vista? Or use the dreaded vlite?

 

Not 100% sure, but relatively certain that I haven't disabled any Vista services and def haven't installed any tweaking programs or used vlite.
