Can't uninstall Commodo Firewall Pro

I'm trying to help a friend and get his computer to connect to the internet, but when you boot up his system you get thie message "Error while loading resources from C:\Program Files\COMMODO\Firewall\ cfpconfg.dll aboring application". I think the Commodo firewall program is keeping him from connecting to the internet. So, I'm trying to uninstall it but I get the same message when I try to do that "Error while loading resources from C:\Program Files\COMMODO\Firewall\ cfpconfg.dll aboring application". I then try to simply install the program over again to see if that will fix the problem, but it tries to uninstall it first before it'll install it and then I get that error message again. It's a round a round and does anyone know how I can fix it?

 

Tough problem. I can help you by describing how to prevent COMMODO from starting with Windows. If you open a run prompt (click on the start to see it) and enter msconfig, you can change which programs and services starts with windows. You want to look under the "services" and "startup" tabs and disable anything that is related to COMMODO. Restart your computer afterwards.

Doing this will help you figure out if COMMODO is to blame. It may also assist you in removing the program.
