Can't uninstall IE6!!!

    I am having a problem with IE6 on a computer. I have all the latest updates. I cannot uninstall it. I have tried reinstalling it but that does not solve my prolbem. Do you guys have and ideas I can try? Thanks.

    Its Win 2000. Whenever I get a link to a website in Outlook I click on it and the link will not open. IE doesn't even open a box flashes up for a split second and thats it.
