Can't Uninstall Notepad

Hi, Major.
I'm interested in uninstalling Notepad from my Windows 10 64 bit professional system.
The reason?
I use notepad ++ for everything. I've associated it with every known file type using both the program itself and trying on the windows settings page.
And every now and then when opening a file to edit it I find that windows has decided that I need to use their notepad, not Notepad ++.
It's not a huge problem, but it is frustrating.

I should add that I have tried every reasonable tactic to uninstall it. It doesn't show in the list of apps and features to uninstall, it doesn't show in the list of windows accessories on the uninstall page...
Third party uninstallers can't find it.
I could go in and hack the registry blindly, but THEN my next post would be weeping: I screwed my windows and bricked my machine! HELP ME!

I've downloaded and installed it; it seems to be about what I wanted.
I'll see if it does what I want it to; I've had good results from all MajorGeeks software so I'm hopeful.
AND I didn't brick my machine!
