Cant unistall Age of Empires Age of Kings

Everytime when i go to start> programs> microsoft games folder> unistall and if i go to add/remove program i get this blank messge below when trying to unistall it. I need help removing this from my computer. Im running Win98SE.

Most games are easy to uninstall manually.

Remove the folder under program files.

Remove any registry values that pertain to this software under
HKLM\Software
HKCU\Software
HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\uninstall

Then use your favorite crap registry cleaner. Like ccleaner....

I did what you told me and got it Then i put in the cd just to make sure i removed it and it said that could install it... so that good thanks

Hey i was haveing a problem with the same game. I just cant install it. When i try to install it i get the error message that says age of the empires 2 setup has to close we are sorry for the inconveinience. I just ran the registry scanner always right but i cant figure out what to do when i hit fix. I also have registry mechanic installed and i tried doing scans with that and it doesnt help. It was installed on another harddrive once and i reformatted it so i can try another operateing system and it wont reinstall to the other harddrive. Thanks for any help you can give me
