Cant Update Bios On Used Asus Gaming Laptop

    Model number is GL503VM-B17N13. I downloaded BIOS file GL503VM-AS.311 from https://www.asus.com/us/Laptops/ROG-Strix-GL503/HelpDesk_Download/
    Bios flash says "BIOS update failed". Asus Winflash utility from that same link says "The BIOS file is not suitable for this model.". when I press get bios from device". When I press "Get BIOS from the Web" it downloads version 307 for model GL503VMF and says "The format of the downloaded file is not valid.".

    Update: I downloaded the BIOS file for model GL503VMF version 307 and BIOS flash succeded. It's weird that the BIOS doesn't match the laptop's model.
