Cartoons

A discussion at work leads to this post/poll. I want to know if women actually dig cartoons (specifically Adult Swim, Anime, Simpsons). A few of the ladies at work were talking about how boring cartoons were, and it must be "a guy thing" to enjoy them. So I figured I'd set up a poll and see if anyone was interested in it... plus if I get the "right" numbers I can print it and say: in your face... in your face. them: in our face in our face. (you'll have to watch Family Guy to get that one.)

I shoulda voted for my wife instead of for myself, it would have helped your goal. We are both in our 40's and LOVE anime, family guy, simpsons, teen titons, batman and such

 

Newspaper cartoons, Simpsons, SouthPark...That's about it.

 

Cartoons are so awesome. I love watching adult swim, of course the simpsons. I especially like the old school cartoons, good ol' tom and jerry, the jetsons, the flintstones, scooby doo, i could watch em all day long.

 

GOOD cartoons, yes. By good, I mean Warner Brothers, Looney Tunes, Tom & Jerry, etc. I absolutely cannot stand anime, I don't think of those as cartoons...just because it's drawn doesn't make it so. Most everything being shown on Saturday morning now annoys the crap out of me, as do most of the ones that are on after school.

Simpsons, yes. King of the Hill, Family Guy, Futurama...nope.

 

I'm pretty much with SgtTibbs. Old Warner Bros. are echoes of my childhood. I've gotten to like King Of The Hill some, most of the other contemporary stuff, no.

 

I'm with Sgt. Tibbs and G.T. on the older/classic cartoons and their comments. Have never liked any of the contemporary stuff.

 

Yay. Cartoons rule , ahh animation. My favourite cartoons are probably old (and a few of the new) marvel cartoons . E.g spiderman , the hulk etc.

. Damn the new hulk movie. Why is the Hulk 5 times bigger than the regular people? In the comics hes the same size as everyone else ( apart from a lot more muscle. )

I love cartoons. I like Adult Swim, I am one of the wierd ones who likes Anome, as long as its done well. I like the art work and stuff like that. If the art is campy or cheezy looking I wont like it.

As for the Hulk being huge in the movie, they did that as a visual representation of the fact that the madder the hulk gets the stronger he gets (as everyone knows). it was the only way they could think of to visually show that he was becomming stronger. They are going to try to make that better in the next movie.

CARTOONS ROCK LIKE A BIG BOULDER!!!! My faves are Futurama and family guy with a bit of Simpsons. Btw Spaz nice pic stewie's deadly cool!!!

 

But of course I've seen Spirited Away....although, I have not seen princess monoke...

cartoons just make you feel good
and females who say they don't like toons are full of it

you know how they(Females) always say they don't fart or poo. . .? it's BS
and men who don't, just aren't gettn any
