Since I'm not a full-fledged geek goddess, I reserve the right to stumble around on this a bit. :)

Few years back, I put an Intel Pentium IV P875 (?) motherboard and a 380-ish W PSU into an Antec mid-tower w/ 7 exp slots. Now I want to rack my inventory into a smaller (and quieter) tower. I can live with 4 expansion slots since I have sufficient USB ports on the I/O board.

I downloaded a CTBIOS app to see what I can (re)learn about the motherboard when I get home this evening BUT...here is the question I cant seem to find an answer to so far:

What is the smallest tower a P875 motherboard can live in? Is it considered an AT board? an ATX board? I'm even seeing Micro/Mini ATX - ACK !!

I'm liking the Sonata Plus 550 but I'm having a terrible time trying to reconcile motherboard to tower possibilties. Help !!

    thanks !!

Google "pc wizard" that will tell you the mobo make & model.

thank you thank you thank you - a thousand times thank you! I was underwhelmed by the incomplete report (in mostly German) from CTBios. PCWizard told me everything I needed to know - most importantly that I have a D875PBZ and its an ATX board. Now I can go case shopping without wondering if I was buying the right case.

    THANK YOU !!

Thanks for the specs. The mobo is indeed a standard ATX form factor. It will fit any ATX case.

The Sonata Plus 550 is a top notch case with a quality psu. I'd recommend that. It's well made for easy installs, quietness and functionality (no bling).

Very timely input !! I'm a devoted Antec fan and the +550 is on my short list. (note Newegg.com customer reviews). I prefer USB ports at/near top o' the case but find it (so far) only in gaming cases. The 'geek princess' side of my brain loves all the toyz but not sure I need the Raidmax-style light show !

    Thank you !
