   I always wondered who actually sent gold through the mail to a company like this, and why you wouldn't just go to a jewelry store, pawn shop, etc.

   I was wondering watching the ad how many people remove gems from the jewelry, that and the fact that craftsmanship would make some pieces more valuable.
   They pay strictly by weight I'm sure.
