    Is there a program i can use to record a cassette to mp3 from my hi-fi?

    You could get a male to male headphone cable. Then plug one into the headphone jack on your cassete player then the other into your microphone jack.

    Get a program called audacity. Just do a google search.

    you can use this program and the cable to record cassetes to mp3s
