.... that's the point?
If you stare at the dot on castle #1, and then suddenly switch to the same point on castle #2, it appears in colour???

 

Sweet, as long as I don't move my eyes. With a little quick work in photoshop, you can get an idea of how it works. The first one is both pictures superimposed with the opacity down. The second is the same with the 'color' ones color inverted. Sorry if they are not that great, running late for work!
