CCENT Cert Test

Ok so I'm scheduled to take my CCENT exam on Jan 3rd and was wondering if anyone here knew of any FREE practice tests that are available. Googled it but of course the results came up with a quadzillion links to various subscription sites. Losing my job soon so I am unable to pay for a free practice test. Any ideas or tips?

No free accurate practice exams that i know of. Couple tips though. You'll need a deep understanding of subnetting and how networks work. Example - host A to Host B - A -> switchA -> RouterA -> RouterB -> SwitchB -> HostB. What happens to the packet headers each step of the way. Source/destination mac and ip addresses change, so be familiar with that.

When you do the icnd exams instead of the ccna exam, they get very granular. Most of the questions will likely include some subnetting.

Basically I missed passing by 2 questions. Oh well, time to study more and pass it next time!

Now time to hijack my own thread and ask if anyone knows where I can lay my hands on a good study guide for the Microsoft MTA 98-349 exam? I have a potential new employer that needs me to have a Microsoft cert as soon as possible and he said I should have enough knowlegde already to pass the MTA cert. I just want a refresher so I can ensure I will pass this one!
